Our Soft Skills program has included various career pathways, with Carpentry, IT and HVAC being the currently active ones.
Participants in the program will develop work skills, obtain certifications, and work with community partners.
Our workshops assist candidates with building resumes, conducting mock interviews, public speaking learning how to dress for success and financial literacy

Carpenters construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials. They work on projects such as houses, commercial buildings, furniture, and cabinetry. Their tasks include measuring, cutting, shaping materials, assembling frameworks, and ensuring structures meet safety and design specifications.

I.T. (Information Technology) Workers manage, develop, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software to ensure efficient digital operations. They provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, protect data security, and develop software or applications. I.T. roles include network administrators, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, and technical support staff, all working to keep businesses and organizations running smoothly in the digital world.

HVAC (Heating, Vacuum and Air Conditioning) HVACHVAC technicians keep your home or business running smoothly year- round by taking care of your heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. They handle everything from installing units, upgrading outdated systems, performing routine maintenance to keep things efficient and ensure cleaner air quality and better energy savings.
Job areas: HVAC Installer, Technician or Engineer. Indoor Air Quality Specialist, Refrigeration Technician.
